Nowadays it look as if everyone’s into this “facebook”. What’s the big deal really? Can you use Facebook Marketing for your biz?I don’t mean to sound negative but from what I see there’s not much of an entertainment we can get from it right?You just find friends, meet people, meet lovely people, or meet potential relationship partners, chat with them, post pictures, share anything in your or others’ wall(Yes, every kind of things), use applications such as games and quizzes, play poker(wait that’s already included in applications), reconnect with friends and relatives, have fortunes taken, earn money(wait we can earn money in facebook?), Okay I admit it!I’m also into this facebook thing. It’s just so addicting it sucks you into it’s world and make you fall in love with it. With tons of activities to be done it’s almost like a virtual arcade where you can choose which game you’ll play or spend time with. But that’s not even the best part about it. You can also interact with dozens of people. People you may or may not know. Even people you hate!I mean you can add them up as a friend and spy on them(what the heck am I saying?I don’t actually do that). I started out blabbering about what’s with this facebook thing but I ended up promoting it. Really, that’s how powerful its effect has sunk into me. Upon being consumed by facebook I did eventually found out about it’s many uses. Well as it is defined facebook is a social networking site, that means most of its many uses would have to be interaction. You can interact with anyone from around the globe(we are talking about the internet after all). But enough of that. With facebook I have been doing so much that I barely use it as a social networking site anymore. Mostly I use it as a tool to entertain myself. I plunge myself into its playgrounds and play away. Be it the renowned and widely used zynga poker to the mafia wars or to simple brain tittilating quizzes. I know you guys can relate. (Continued)

I once went to a convention about twitter marketing and I thought it was pretty useless. NWI social media strategy is not fun either. I remember when we were kids we used to wake up to the “tweet” “ tweet” of birds in the morning , nowadays we wake up with the tweets on twitter. It’s the new revolution in micro blogging which allows you to publish short messages of less than 140 characters in mediums like IM, web or cell phone.
Twitter is the fastest way to let everybody know about your opinions, views and skills. It is fast becoming a way for celebrities to market themselves and reach out to their fans worldwide. It is also a platform for politicians to communicate their propaganda and be in news always.
It has helped developed a new kind of intimacy among people. It helps in keeping in touch more regularly and continuously which normally we don’t have access to considering the time and space constrains.
You can easily follow hundreds of users and enter any number of conversations at a time as usually is the case. It is also a powerful marketing and business tool it can be used as a tool to push out messages simultaneously to a large group in a short and precise way.

Remember too much of anything is bad. Too much of tweeting might make you feel as if there is no personal life and on the other hand you may feel handicapped when not being able to tweet the event as soon as it happens. Sometimes it may leave people with a feeling of being left out. Don’t give into the fear of feeling disconnected.
Be care while selecting your privacy settings. Never give out all your personal information some might misuse it.
Use twitter to analyze and record your time. Record what you do daily. It may seem a boring use but in long run it will help you know your time management better.
While creating account try to keep your username as simple as possible and easy to indentify. Most people don’t add or approve funny or strange usernames. In fact they might report it as spam also. If u have posted a link on your blog keep updating it.
Twitter does not screen out obscenities so don’t use them or encourage them, you don’t want to make bad impression on a prospective client just because you jokingly tweeted something for your friends who might seem out of character or obscene. Have a happy and safe tweeting!!!
